Jakarta, 9 October 2023 – OCBC NISP together with Lintasarta through the Owlexa Healthcare service signed a cooperation agreement to provide financing facilities for the purchase of Hospital Management Information Systems (SIMRS) and Clinical Management Information Systems (SIMKLINIK) on Monday, 9 October 2023. This collaboration is a form of commitment from both companies to support the realization of regulations related to Electronic Medical Records (RME) in Indonesia, which are contained in Law no. 24 of 2022.
OCBC NISP and Lintasarta believe that the health industry must continue to be supported in order to create a healthy and prosperous society. Indonesia itself still has a lot of potential in terms of national health data, especially considering that more than 80% of health service facilities in Indonesia are currently still untouched by digital technology, and the data is fragmented and spread across hundreds of varied health sector applications. For this reason, every development in it must always be supported, including digitalization in terms of integrating patient data in Health Service Facilities (Fasyankes) so that health services can be provided optimally.
Emilya Tjahjadi, Director of OCBC NISP said, “This financing is provided specifically to Owlexa Healthcare clients consisting of hospitals or clinics so they can enjoy SIMRS/SIMKLINIK services provided by Owlexa Healthcare. “In this way, these health facilities can provide better and maximum health services.”
Currently, RME and patient administration data in Indonesia are not yet fully stored digitally and integrated between health facilities. This is of course a challenge for patients and health facilities, where the treatment process becomes more difficult and longer because every time a patient changes health facilities, they are required to start all diagnoses from zero again.
The existence of Law no. 24 of 2022 which requires every health facility to provide RME (Electronic Medical Records) so that in the future it can be integrated nationally, is certainly a regulation that can help resolve this challenge. So that in the future, the health industry in Indonesia can save more paper, storage space, time and energy for searching and handing over to operational departments, even between health facilities.
Welcoming this collaboration, Zulfi Hadi, Marketing & Solution Director Lintasarta said “We are proud to collaborate with OCBC NISP to support digital transformation in the Indonesian health industry. “This collaboration will make it easier for health facilities to have and implement SIMRS and SIMKLINIK, which are integrated digital solutions that can help improve the quality of health services in Indonesia.”
“Furthermore, SIMRS and SIMKLINIK provided, managed and/or operated by Owlexa Healthcare are really needed, both by Health Facilities and patients, where there is a network of coordination, reporting and administrative procedures to obtain precise and accurate information, including in terms of medical records “electronics in health facilities have become more systematic and integrated,” added Zulfi.
SIMRS is a web-based Management Information System that allows hospitals to carry out all operations in each unit more easily. Meanwhile, SIMKLINIK is a web-based Management Information System with real time reports so that clinic stakeholders can easily control the clinic remotely. The features provided by Owlexa Healthcare in both systems include the Patient Administration System, Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Reporting, Inventory, Accounting, Dashboard, Bridging, Video Conference, and of course the features that make Health Facilities integrated with the BPJS Health system .
“We believe that this collaboration between Bank OCBC NISP and Lintasarta through Owlexa Healthcare will be an important step in supporting digital transformation in the Indonesian health industry,” concluded Emilya.
