Jakarta, 4 April 2023 – Lintasarta, a leading Total Solutions Information & Communication Technology (ICT) company in Indonesia, commemorates its 35th Anniversary (HUT) on Tuesday, 4 April 2023. Welcoming 35 years old, Lintasarta reflects on their journey for three and a half decades growing with Indonesia, while continuing the commitment to continue providing a variety of high-quality ICT solutions with qualified services to accelerate digitalization for industry players in Indonesia.
Lintasarta experienced various very diverse growth phases since our inception. We went through the 1998 financial crisis, the beginning of the internet era, until the era of Covid-19 pandemic. All of these journeys have encouraged the company to continue to innovate according to the needs of the times to bring us to the point where we are today. Until now, Lintasarta has more than 2,400 customers throughout Indonesia, more than 1,800 remote VSATs, 3 Data Centers, 3 Cloud Infrastructure, and Fiber Optic networks spread across more than 200 cities.
Pursuing Technological Innovation
For 35 years of existence, Lintasarta has been trusted to support internet networks and various other ICT products and services. Starting from meeting the needs of Bank Indonesia, then expanding into various large national and other private companies, as well as ministries and local governments.
Responding to the increasingly diverse needs of industry and customers for ICT services, Lintasarta creates a variety of network infrastructure and supporting infrastructure products and services. In the early 90s, Lintasarta started building network services (Frame Relay, Internet Dedicated, Datacom, VSAT) and Data Centers. Entering the 2000s, Lintasarta founded Artajasa as the first electronic transaction service provider in Indonesia and ATM Bersama.
Lintasarta then launched various solutions for the industry such as SKOTA, Collaboration, Owlexa Healthcare, Media Analytics, TPCM, e-KYC, and LEAPS for Managed Service solutions. Then followed by Lintasarta Cloud Services, which is currently rebranding to become Lintasarta Cloudeka. Lintasarta’s Managed Security Services products are VPN MultiService, VPN Enzy, and a Security Operation Center called SQURA. Internally, Lintasarta is modernizing various applications such as Ultima, data analytics & robotic automation for preventive maintenance network management, ERFINA for Finance, and myLintasarta as a mobile employee app.
Building Indonesia
Building network infrastructure and supporting services is tantamount to developing Indonesia. Apart from providing ICT solutions, Lintasarta also has various CSR initiatives which consist of the Smart Pillars, Innovation, Health and Wellbeing, and Love the Earth. Various CSR programs within these pillars have succeeded in capturing an average of 90,000 beneficiaries each year.
Lintasarta is also working with various local governments for the following programs SKOTA services or Smart City/Command Centers in more than 30 cities and regencies throughout Indonesia, construction of more than 1,000 4G BTS in Papua and West Papua through partnerships with the government and consortia, the West Java Digital Village program and infrastructure optimization training in villages through Lintasarta Mengajar, and various other similar programs. At this 35th anniversary celebration, Lintasarta through the Rohis team also partnered with Rumah Zakat in Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya and Bandung to provide compensation to hundreds of orphans and poor people in order to share in the month of Ramadan. The compensation provided is in the form of Al-Qur’an, prayer equipment (prayer mat, sarong/mukena), school equipment, snacks, and pocket money.
Having expertise in ICT, Lintasarta provides a lot of support for the community regarding free education in the fields of computer science, gadget needs, and the internet. One of them is through the programming scholarship program, Lintasarta Cloudeka Digischool, the Digitalintasarta program to increase the IT capacity of hundreds of vocational students and teachers in NTT who are officially certified from Intel and Microsoft, and Appcelerate, an incubation program for potential start-ups.
Building the Future
To support the company’s adaptation process so that it is always relevant to the times, the role of HR in the productive age is certainly important. In the midst of the company’s regeneration momentum, Millennials and Gen Z generations have been prepared to continue the leadership relay. Lintasarta itself has more than 50% Millennial generation employees and 13 employee development and appreciation programs.
A number of employee development and appreciation programs that have been implemented by Lintasarta include the Lintasarta Innovation Competition (LINC) as a forum for employees to innovate new products or services and coaching Gen Z employees from fresh graduates through the management trainee program, Lintasarta Future Generation.
