Karawang, 20 September 2023 – Lintasarta, a leading provider of information technology solutions in Indonesia, is proud to announce the groundbreaking or inauguration of the construction of the newest Network Operation Center (NOC) in Karawang. This inauguration was attended by Lintasarta’s Board of Directors and representatives of commissioners, the company’s internal team, as well as the implementing contractor and regional teams in order to modernize the network operations center in order to meet the high network needs of the new industrial area, as well as improve the quality of service to customers and the overall customer experience.
“NOC Karawang was established with a land area of 10,000 m² consisting of a 3-story main NOC building, a 2-story mosque, power house, radio room and VSAT satellite antenna. “This NOC will be the main control center for monitoring, managing and supporting Lintasarta’s extensive network and information technology infrastructure that supports various industrial sectors,” said Corporate Service Director, Hariyadi Ramelan.
With a projected addition of 21 million new internet users, including from the B2B market, in 2027, demand for data connectivity services will also increase rapidly. This development also shows Lintasarta’s commitment to preparing for customer needs not only now, but also in the future.
In addition, along with the development of Lintasarta’s fiber optic coverage which forms the Java ring structure, a new interconnection node is needed in the eastern part to improve routing freezing and traffic contingency in the event of disruption. Rapid development in eastern Indonesia with the growth of several new industrial areas has become a potential market for Lintasarta. Based on these considerations, Lintasarta modernized the NOC in the form of building a new NOC between Cikarang and East Karawang.
Lintasarta provides NOC management services as part of its Managed Service IT Operation services. NOC will be able to provide at least three benefits for a company, namely faster identification of network problems, minimal downtime, and guaranteed continuity of business processes. This is made possible by continuous monitoring by NOC staff so that any network related issues can be discovered and resolved immediately.
Companies that want to focus on their main industry or do not yet have the resources to build their own NOC can hand over their network monitoring to Managed Service services and can take advantage of Lintasarta’s services. The advantage of Managed Service IT Operation services from Lintasarta itself lies in the approach taken, namely prioritizing automation, adopting best practices, compliance with standards (such as ISO 20000 and ITIL), and always focusing on improving service quality as guaranteed in the SLA.
Managed Service IT Operation is also supported by more than 400 certified IT experts. Thus, customers who use Lintasarta’s services for their IT service needs will be handled by professionals in their field. Another advantage is Lintasarta’s service coverage which is available in more than 50 cities throughout Indonesia.
“With this newest facility, Lintasarta is increasingly prepared to face the need for information technology solutions which continues to develop and become a strategic partner for companies in various sectors. “The hope is that by building this new NOC, we can continue to provide the best information technology solutions for customers,” concluded Corporate Service Director, Hariyadi Ramelan.
