Jakarta, 4 May 2023 – Lintasarta, a leading total solutions Information and Communication Technology (ICT) company in Indonesia, announced the achievements of the beneficiaries of the CSR program in 2022. In 2022, there will be 93,939 people as beneficiaries of the Lintasarta CSR program spread across four lines the pillars of CSR, namely the Smart Pillar, the Healthy and Prosperous Pillar, the Love the Earth Pillar, and the Innovation Pillar.
“2022 was still the tough year that we experienced together due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We are grateful that during these difficult times, we were still able to spread benefits to various community groups in Indonesia through CSR programs,” said Triharry Darmawan Oetji, Corporate Secretary General Manager of Lintasarta.
The achievements of Lintasarta’s CSR beneficiaries in 2022 have increased dramatically from previous years. In 2020, the beneficiaries will reach more than 64,000 people and in 2021 it will reach more than 76,000 people. The existence of a pandemic situation has actually increased public interest in several Lintasarta CSR programs, especially those that focus on upskilling or improving self-skills.
“The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) estimates that the ICT sector workforce will have reached 1.09 million people in February 2022, marking a 1.3% (yoy) increase from the previous year. With the increasing interest of workers in the ICT sector during the pandemic, Lintasarta’s CSR program that dominated last year came from Pilar Pintar. Interest in our CSR program which focuses on IT and digital skill training has increased rapidly to more than 70,000 participants,” continued Triharry.
Lintasarta’s Smart Pillar has several excellent programs in 2022. One of them is CSR Digitalintasarta with IT and digital training for hundreds of SMK students and teachers in NTT. This program will carry out a graduation session in Labuan Bajo in June.
Then, there is the Lintasarta Cloudeka Digischool CSR which has been running since 2020 and has succeeded in capturing more than 23,000 applicants from the general public. Globally certified, the program contains a series of free modules that combine theory and practice with experts. In 2022, the modules offered focus on the curriculum to become a full-stack developer with front-end and back-end capabilities.
In addition, this program is collaborating for the first time with a cloud service from and for Indonesia, Lintasarta Cloudeka, in providing free cloud services for program participants. All series of programs are carried out online to enable people from various backgrounds to take part in programs with the same quality of learning.
One of the success stories of the Pilar Pintar CSR program came from Deni Irawan Nugraha (22) from West Bandung Regency. As the backbone of a family that originally only had a high school diploma, Deni eventually succeeded in becoming a full-time Front-End Web Developer at Natural Farm, a Jakarta-based company providing organic health and beauty needs.
“I have participated in various job fairs and applied to work in many places, but was not accepted. This is because I don’t have any special skills. I then enrolled in the Lintasarta Cloudeka Digischool scholarship to improve my skills. While studying at Lintasarta, I gained a lot of new knowledge that I had never found before. Most of this knowledge is material that is difficult for me to get myself on the internet,” Deni explained.
In 2023, Lintasarta hopes that the various CSR programs initiated by the company can have a meaningful impact not only on the beneficiaries, but also the company.
