Labuan Bajo, 2 August 2023 – Lintasarta, a leading telecommunications and information technology company in Indonesia, is proud to announce the graduation of more than 300 participants in the Digitalintasarta CSR program which was held at SMKN 1 Labuan Bajo with Orbit Future Academy. Also attended by the Head of the East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) Education and Culture Office, Linus Lusi, this event is a form of Lintasarta’s commitment to support the development of human resources and IT education in Eastern Indonesia.
“We are very happy to see the participants of the Digitalintasarta CSR program in Labuan Bajo successfully completing this training. We believe that the development of human resources in the field of information technology is an important step to drive economic growth and achieve development equality throughout Indonesia,” said Bayu Hanantasena, Main Director of Lintasarta.
The Digitalintasarta CSR program was successfully attended by more than 300 vocational high school (SMK) students and teachers as part of Lintasarta’s digitalization mission for the country. Officially certified from Intel Corporation and Microsoft Corporation, this program contains training for students and upper-level teachers in vocational schools and aims to develop specific skills as a preparation for entering the world of work.
The four modules given are Network Engineer, Network Infra Engineer, Artificial Intelligence for Youth, and Teaching in Industry 4.0. It is hoped that the skills imparted in these four modules will provide greater opportunities for program participants to get a job and build a career, especially in the field of technology and informatics.
“We, as the Provincial Government of NTT, believe that preparing human resources for using and managing the internet is one of the top priorities for pursuing digitalization in our region1. So, we really appreciate the existence of this Digitalintasarta CSR program, and it is hoped that this program can provide graduates with knowledge and skills so that they can contribute to advancing the information technology sector in NTT and Indonesia,” said Linus Lusi, Head of the NTT Province Education and Culture Office.
Together with Orbit Future Academy as a strategic partner in running the Digitalintasarta CSR program, this graduation ceremony is planned as an event to appreciate program achievements and participants who have completed the curriculum, as well as an invitation to collaborate with stakeholders in various sectors to jointly advance the digital sector in Eastern Indonesia.
