“Cybersecurity is a very dynamic and complex field. In dealing with it, we need to strengthen our technical skills on an ongoing basis, especially because threats from hackers or hackers are growing very fast every day. This can be done through deepening various hard skills, such as mastering programming languages, penetration testing, malware analysis, and network security management. Deepening these hard skills is an important foundation in building expertise in cybersecurity,” said Luky Kurniawan, Security Solution Senior Manager Lintasarta.
In the ever-evolving digital era, cybersecurity is one of the most important things. To meet industry needs for cybersecurity, Lintasarta has a line of cybersecurity products under SQURA. SQURA has a goal to increase cybersecurity awareness among employees, minimize the complexity of cybersecurity typologies through managed services, and ultimately provide peace of mind to business people and related IT teams.
Apart from deepening hard skills, Imam Rizky Hambali, Cyber Security Product Manager Lintasarta also emphasizes the importance of training in developing a career in cybersecurity. “Data from Fortinet in 2022 states that 81 percent of organizations prefer to recruit cybersecurity talent who has certification. In fact, 91 percent of them are also willing to pay for training and certification. This data shows how training is an important key to honing skills and knowledge as cybersecurity talent. Through training, we can gain an in-depth understanding of the latest technologies, the latest cyber attack methodologies, and best practices in dealing with cybersecurity threats.”
